The Scottish Event Awards have launched for 2012 and are now accepting entries, which aims to reward event organisers, promoters, venues and suppliers on the events and services they have provided in the past year. The Scottish Event Awards is the only annual award scheme provides the Scottish event industry a fantastic platform to demonstrate their talent and skills and stand out above the competition.

This year’s Scottish Event Awards will be judged by an experienced panel from some of England’s leading event management companies who have the knowledge and skills to award the entries this year.
- Suppliers and event managers who can prove they are providing ongoing value and points of difference
- Event promoters or organisers who can demonstrate the marketing skills crucial to successful events whether staged for the public, businesses, clients or in-house teams
- Venues or suppliers that can show how they contribute to the events industry
- Demonstrate your talent and skills to your company and clients
- Demonstrate your event skills, knowledge, delivery and results against your rivals and peers
- Stand out from the competition

What are the judges looking for?
As the focus is on event planning, services and execution the judging panel will be looking for results, effective marketing, client satisfaction, sustainability, success, management of team, innovative and new approaches. Most of all they will be looking for an event idea that they wish they had carried out themselves… Demonstrate to the judges and clients that you are an award winning company.
Entries for the awards must be submitted by Friday 25 May, 5pm.
