Cast your vote for Event Professional of the Year.
The Scottish Event Awards and The Drum have reviewed the events industry in Scotland to identify key players who have made a significant contribution to the profession over the past year.
We have created a shortlist of individuals who we believe deserve recognition for their passion and dedication in promoting events as an important element of the marketing mix and contributing to our country's economy through popular and worthwhile events. Below are the 8 finalists, please vote for who you think should win the award before voting closes on the 6th August. You will only have one vote per company (votes based on IP address), so please choose carefully.
After the 6th August, votes will be counted and the winner will be announced at the awards ceremony on the 9th of September.

Welcome to the 2010 Scottish Event Awards, the only annual awards scheme that rewards and celebrates all areas of the thriving events industry in Scotland. Now in their 3rd year are going from strength to strength, proving that the industry in our home country is one to be proud of.

Who will win the awards?
On Wednesday, those who are revealed as finalists will be in the running for the awards.
Category winners will then be revealed at the gala awards ceremony being held on Thursday 9 September at the new Grand Central Hotel in Glasgow.
This fantastic new venue is set to open in September following a £20m refurbishment. Dating back to 1883, the Grand Central Hotel has a long history of hosting prestigious events and this year will host another – the Scottish Event Awards
The ceremony is not just an awards show but it’s the night when the whole of the Scottish Events Industry gets together to catch up and celebrate. It’s also the ideal platform for you to network and make valuable business contacts.
Like a who’s who of the Scottish events industry, this black tie awards ceremony is one event not to be missed - Even if you aren’t up for an award.
