Awards ceremony
Like the 2009 event the 2010 awards ceremony will be one to remember and a must for your diary. So make a note as the highlight to your events calendar and the culmination of the Scottish Event Awards will be held on Thursday 9th September at the Grand Central Hotel, Glasgow.
Located above the city’s main train station, Central Station, the iconic hotel is due to relaunch as the Grand Central Hotel in September 2010 following a £20m refurbishment
Principal Hayley acquired the historic Glasgow landmark, formerly known as the Central Hotel, last year and is renovating the 350,000sq ft space. Dating back to 1883, the Grand Central Hotel has a long history of hosting prestigious events and was once the place to be seen for high profile guests including Cary Grant, Gene Kelly, Frank Sinatra, Laurel and Hardy, the Queen, Sir Winston Churchill and John F Kennedy.
Included in the price of your ticket is a sparkling drinks reception, 3 course meal, entertainment, entrance to the awards to find out who has won the trophies this year and the chance to catch up with colleagues in the events industry.

As the Grand Central is undergoing a huge refurbishment to restore the beauty and stature of the venue, they are working extremley hard to have everything looking stunning to host this year's Scottish Event Awards.
Unfortunately this does mean that there wont be any bedrooms available to book in the venue.
However we do have a number of allocated rooms at other city centre hotel that you may book.
Please note these rooms will be released prior to the event date if they are not used, booking early to receive the discounted rate is advisable.

Plane
